BELT GRADING
MG (Majlis Gurulatih) of Gelanggang Naga Rantau had organized an intensive course for the Belt Grading. The grading was successfully done on 14th July 2012. Congratulation to those who took the belt grading and succeeded:

The syllabus that I apply here in GNR (Gelanggang Naga Rantau) is the synthesis of what I have learned from different Masters until now. So for the Yellow Belt grading, I checked especially their Lembing technique (Gerakan, Elakan, Golongan, Buah Kunci and Pentas) and Cindai (Gerakan, Tarian and Buah). For the additional 2nd and 3rd Chula, the additional technique is required. For the Red belt, other than Pukulan, Kombat, Kunci, Pentas, Buah Siku and Elakan Kaki, I checked their Pisau technique (Gerakan, Golongan, Elakan, Buah and Pentas). For the additional 1st Chula, I checked their technique of Simbat (Gerakan, Elakan, Golongan, Buah and Pentas).

WARRIOR'S DAY
On Sunday morning, MPS (Majlis Pencak Silat), under the president of Gelanggang Naga Rantau had organized a Warrior's Day at the student center, UMP Pekan. The event was begun at 10 am and finished at 5 pm. The program was the co-operation with Cikgu Mazlan Hasihm, a Pesaka Pekan from Seni Pencak Silat Sangkar Rawana. The event were participated by ten Perguruan (Silat Schools) from Pekan and Kuantan. Every Master came with their demo team and made the demonstration of their school.
