I'm still thinking what will we do for our demonstration. BDA, stands for "Boulevard des associations", is an important event that every association in the north of France will have a two days festival to promote and introduce their association to the public.
Friday 2nd October, we are going to decorate our booth. We'll need more "kain sarong" to be used as the background. Brochures, CD's, books and all of the Gayong stuffs, included the weapons to be exhibited and to be sold, will be the things that I'm going to attract the attention!
On Saturday we'll have 15 minutes to do a demonstration. 15 minutes to represent Silat Seni Gayong. Not so much, but would be enough if we do the right thing. How would we present Simbat, Pisau, Keris, Parang, Lembing, Tekpi or other "image" of Gayong? I have to think, think and think..... the purpose will be to promote Silat Seni Gayong. Ah... I always love the feeling after the demo.... the satisfaction, the proud, the relief, and even the chance to meet new people... meaning to enlarge the links and connections...
